Graduate of the Institute of Financial Science and Insurance (ISFA), Patrick Rivière, 64, began his career in 1983 at Cholet Dupont before joining Fimagest in 1985. Following the takeover of Fimagest by Générale de Banque in 1996, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of Générale de Banque AM. Then, as part of the acquisition of Générale de Banque by Fortis, he became, two years later, general manager of Fortis IM. In 1999, he joined Invesco as Regional Director for Europe, before being appointed CEO of Invesco AM. In 2008, Patrick Rivière was appointed Managing Director of the La Française Group and in May 2020, he became Chairman of the Management Board.
